This morning the Premier of Victoria, Daniel Andrews announced that all students will return to face to face teaching tomorrow Wednesday 28 July. Therefore, a normal school day will operate commencing tomorrow.
Face Masks
Face masks at school commencing Wednesday 28th July:
- School staff and secondary school students aged 12 or older must always wear a face mask at school (both indoors and outdoors) unless a lawful exception applies.
- For communication purposes, teachers and education support staff are not required to wear face masks while teaching, but those who wish to do so, can.
- Face masks are mandatory for all school staff and school students aged 12 or older when travelling to and from school on public transport and when in taxis or ride share vehicles.
Previously granted exemptions are still valid. Applications for exemptions must be made by a parent/guardian in writing to the Principal.
Other Measures
We will be limiting the people who are able to access the school. Parents are asked to remain in cars if dropping off/picking up students. Parents are also asked not to come to the general office with items that their child may have forgotten.
I sincerely thank the school community for their support of the online/remote learning arrangements that have been in place for past two weeks and I look forward to your continued support as we come back to face to face teaching. As has been the case throughout the coronavirus (COVID-19) situation we will continue to update you as information comes to hand.
