Students with a commitment and passion for writing will flourish in this exciting and supportive community of writers.

WIP recognises the essential role of writing in the life of our culture, and the importance of creative writing in helping our students to develop their own powers of expression, voice, confidence and thinking.

We provide a learning experience that helps students explore and adapt their writing to a range of audiences and publications within the school and in the community.

Students work with published authors, journalists and those creating content for the digital world, such as bloggers, to explore different forms of writing through refining and editing for publication.

The WIP engages students in the profound changes in online communication of the past two decades that have added new dimensions to the style and purpose of copy writing. This includes websites, blogs, social and electronic public media.
