CHALLENGE

CHALLENGE is a dynamic program designed for Parkdale Secondary College year 10 students.

Whether it be further study at a tertiary institution, an apprenticeship, traineeship, or direct entry into the workforce, CHALLENGE aims to prepare students for their future.

CHALLENGE operates on Wednesday afternoons and is based around three key themes:

• Personal
• Community and Future
• Citizenship

During this course, students will be exposed to:

• work skills and pathway planning
• transferable skills such as organisation, studying and ICT
• building positive relationships and resilience,
• gaining greater awareness and investigation of real-world diversity and issues
